Hotels and Ryokans

October 17,2016

Q: Tohoku is packed with great accommodation, tell us what are the hotels and ryokans that truly standout?

The hotels we stayed in deserve special mention. On arrival, we stayed at Hotel Metropolitan Morioka. The hotel is centrally located and easily accessible by other modes of transport.

The following hotel we stayed was Hotel Metropolitan Akita which was the most favorite. It is located directly at the train station which is run by the JR East Railway. Very close to public transportation and many local restaurants nearby.  Wifi connection was good while the rooms are pretty large.

The following hotel was Hanamaki Onsen Senshukaku. It had an interesting concept whereby we slept on the futon. It was a pleasant stay with good amenities.

The final hotel was Daiwa Roynet Sendai. The hotel was in a good location which was surrounded by the necessary amenities and the rooms were quite clean.
