Q: There are so many products in the Japanese drugstores that just don't exist elsewhere in the world. Do share your guide on Japanese drugstore beauty products.

A: In Japan, “drugstore” means a pharmacy and a store that sells cosmetics, toiletries, kitchen utensils and others. Hokkaido is also infested with drugstores, they are largely untapped source for high quality beauty products at inexpensive prices. The drugstores all shockingly overcrowded with people, products stacked and piled up everywhere, and discount signs or advertisements on every shelf. They totally blew our minds with the varieties of make-up and beauty products! We were also eligible for the tax refund while enjoying shopping in selected tax-free drugstores.
