Q: What are the special festival and feature activities of Odori Park ?
A: Odori Park is truly an oasis of flowers and green for those that call Sapporo home. It stretches around 1.5m from east to west. It’s about a 10 minute walk from Sapporo Station, and right next to Odori Koen Station. There are many varieties of flowers planted here including lilacs, so it’s a suitable place to rest during your walk throughout the city. Various events are held here throughout the year. We were so lucky to be here during Summer Festival to view a kaleidoscopic explosion of colourful blooming flowers and their enchanting fragrances herald the arrival of summer. At one end of Odori Park stands the Sapporo TV Tower, which has an observation deck with beautiful views of the park and the surrounding city.
